Cyber Law enforcement in India :Success and Failure
Cyber law enforcement in India plays a crucial role in regulating digital activities, preventing cybercrimes, and ensuring cybersecurity. The Information Technology (IT) Act, 2000, along with various provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sector specific regulations, provides the legal framework for tackling cybercrimes. However, despite several successes,enforcement challenges such as jurisdictional issues, technical expertise gaps, and weak data protection laws hinder the effectiveness of cyber law enforcement.
